I was watching TV yesterday and I couldn’t believe what was coming out of Tom Brady’s mouth.  Usually at this time of year players are verbally smacking each other all over the place.  Not this time…

So as I get ready to hear Tom Brady’s press conference about the AFC Championship game, I have thoughts that Brady is going to trash the Ravens or, at least, I expect him to say the Patriots are a better team and that they will be headed to the Super Bowl.

I was shocked at what came out of his mouth.  He gave praise to the Ravens.  What?!? He said things like the Ravens have a great team with great players.  He gave love to guys like  Suggs and Reed and Lewis.  He said things like we are a tough team to beat.

I had to have two friends come over and pick my jaw up off the floor!!

I’ll only say this once…thanks Tom.

But, is this some type of reverse psychology?  Maybe Brady is thinking praise the opposition.  Then, they won’t play as hard.  I don’t know.

Here’s a word to the Ravens.  Don’t listen to smack.  Don’t listen to praise.  Just go to Foxboro and play like you’ll never play again.  It’s time to show off our college degree from Ball So Hard University.
